Product Reviews
Trying the find the best products for a reasonable price is difficult with all areas of life.
Trying to do it and prepare for a baby/provide for a child, is probably the most difficult thing to do as a consumer. The market is flooded with about 100 different options for 100 different needs and 400 different decisions. It’s overwhelming to say the least.
I am trying to do the work for you. I am addicted to online shopping and to walking through baby stores. As much as I love shopping for my young ones, it is nearly impossible to make a decision to fill one need. Why? Well you try walking into a baby store and not getting side tracked and wondering through the cute bears, teethers, outfits, cots, prams and other such things, then have a sales person tell you about all these new and wonderful things that you didn’t know you needed and how cute your babies are, then for fun try (just try) to remember why you went in there in the first place. If you got this far then congratulations and a good stiff drink of anything not alcoholic is earned. Now start sifting through the millions of options to solve your needs, done! Go home have a cup of tea, just to find the product you bought is cheaper online or completely and utterly a waste of time and money because it isn’t as fantastic as you thought.
Credit where credit is due: The shop assistants try.
The problem is most of them were young themselves and were yet to experience the joys, dramas, and trials of child rearing. So not much help there, unless you have time to stand there listening to a speel about a product that they are literally regurgitating from a description tag you can clearly read yourself. And don’t even get me started on the price tags of some of this stuff.
Being a self proclaimed thrifty Mum, I can safely be described also, as a cheap-scape. I don’t like spending oodles of money on anything. Except maybe food.
So the point of this page is to help other expecting, rearing, or raging Mummys navigate the psychotic world of children/baby products and tell you from the comfort of your couch, kitchen, bed or bathroom, exactly what is worth your time. A simple, honest, review on things that I have seen on Facebook and bought or things that I have been sent to try out.
The best way to tell if something is a waste of time, is to watch someone else waste their time with it, just like the best way for a new Mum to see if something is worth the buy and money is to watch a Mum use it.

I am a proud animal lover and own what might as well be a small petting zoo. I enjoy the occasional shopping spree and creating (be it in the kitchen or in my craft room).
Aside from my wonderful spouse and adorable (most of the time) children, my family consists of 4 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 4 chickens, 1 drake, 1 goose and Skittles the lorikeet.
